Where to Take the CPC Exam in San Diego and Other Locations in the USA
If you’re preparing to become a Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) through AAPC, knowing where to take the exam is essential to your journey. Fortunately, San Diego, known for its healthcare innovation and educational opportunities, offers multiple CPC exam locations and options to fit your needs.
Testing at AAPC-Approved Proctor Sites
To start, AAPC allows exams to be proctored at approved facilities such as:
-
Local community colleges
-
Vocational training centers
-
Healthcare organizations
For example, you can find available proctor sites in San Diego directly through your AAPC member dashboard when you register for the exam.
Meazure Learning Test Centers
AAPC partners with Meazure Learning to deliver in-person CPC exams. In fact, Meazure Learning runs a large network of test centers across the United States and in other countries. After you register, you will receive an email with the test center address, your arrival time and a list of what to bring.
Because seats are reserved on a first come, first served basis, plan ahead and book early. You can also browse every available city on the Meazure Learning test site list.
Online CPC Exam Option
For added flexibility, AAPC offers an online CPC exam that you can take from home. However, this option requires:
-
A reliable internet connection
-
A quiet testing environment
-
A compatible computer with a webcam
As a result, online testing allows San Diego residents to skip the commute and test from the comfort of their homes while still receiving the same certification.
