16-Week AAPC Approved Program
You’ll learn everything you need to know to pass your certification exams to become certified as a medical coder.
Upon completing the online medical coding classes, a certification exam must be taken to become an AAPC’s Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
The CPC Exam is 4 hours and consists of 100 questions covering topics related to ICD-10, medical terminology, anatomy, anesthesia, medicine, and pathology. In order to pass the exam, a score of 70 percent or higher must be achieved.
With 40 to 50 percent of students failing the exams on their first attempt, it’s crucial to be well prepared prior to taking the exam.
