Medical Coding Training & Certification in Indiana

Medical coding is an important process in the healthcare industry where trained professionals assign codes to diagnoses, procedures, and services provided to patients. These codes are used for billing, insurance claims, statistical analysis, and research. By accurately translating medical reports and records into these CPT codes, medical coders ensure that healthcare providers receive proper reimbursement for their services and that patients’ insurance claims are processed correctly. 

While sitting in a classroom may benefit some students, our program is completely remote, meaning you can learn where you want and when you want. Our 80-hour program usually lasts around four months, but some students have finished in as little as two months. Need more time? You have up to one year to finish our AAPC-approved program and take the certification exam. 

Once you’ve completed our course, taken the exam, and finished our Practicode Module, Coding Clarified will find you internships to give you the experience–and confidence–you need to become a professional coder. Best of all, you will be recognized as having two years of experience! This is a fantastic opportunity to give yourself a head start on the rest of the competition for medical coding jobs in Indiana.
