How long does it take?
It depends on the student, but the average is 3 to 4 months.
How many charts will I code?
You will work through 600 individually curated charts featuring common trends you will encounter on the job, such as documentation inconsistencies.
Is the internship included in the cost?
Yes. It is included in your tuition, and only Coding Clarified alumni have access to it.
Will I be paid during the internship?
No. This is an unpaid internship, but you gain experience that is critical to landing your first coding job.
How do I get help if I have a question?
A live auditor monitors our interns and answers questions. You also have access to questions and answers from previous interns.
What specialties are covered?
All of them, including but not limited to oncology, pediatrics, endocrinology, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, cardiology, and pulmonology.
When can I start the internship?
After you complete the Coding Clarified course, pass the CPC exam, and complete Practicode so that your credential reflects CPC.
